Crash Bandicoot 1 Cheats

Play as the genetically engineered animal Crash Bandicoot in this fun, Playstation game. You’ll need to help Crash find his girlfriend, who has just been kidnapped by the evil Dr. Neo Cortex. You’ll have to play through 30 levels filled with intense challenges. Thankfully, there are some cheats that will help make the game a lot easier.

How to get 100% score:

Use the cheat t,t,t,t,x,b,t,t,t,t,b,x,t,o,t,t,t,o,b,t,x,x,x,x.at the password screen and you’ll be given a 100% score, both keys, and all gems.

Riding the colored gems:

Make sure you get all the boxes and be careful not to die in the levels that contain colored gems. You’ll then be able to ride them.

Colored gems can be found:

List City – green gem.

Toxic Waste – blue.

Generator Room – light orange.

Lights Out – pink.

The Lab – yellow gem.

Get Extra time:

When you are in the Plant Food level, there is an easy way to beat the timer and to get the gem.

Jump on the platform to the bonus level, and then just jump over the edge. Since it’s only the bonus level, it’s ok to commit suicide. When you land, you should have an extra 1:43 added to your timer.

Get Extra life:

When you get to the top of the gate in the Native Fortress level, go to the three fire pits, jump on the middle one, and press the up button You will land on a small piece of the gate. Go forward, left, and then right, and you should get an extra life.

You can also receive an extra life in the Heavy machinery level. Step right under the third toxic pipe, and when the slicer is all the way up, drop down into the hole and hold right. You should land on a platform. You can then go right to receive an extra life.

Here are some tips to help you fight the bosses.

Island One: Papu Papu:

Just jump on to his head 3 times as he swings his staff.

Island Two: Ripper Roo:

Whenever he moves near the nitro boxes, detonate them. Do this three times.

Island Three: Koala King:

You have to Dodge the first 3 boulders he throws at you and then spin attack the fourth one in order to hit him with it. Repeat this process about 4 times.

Island Four: Pinstripe:

Hide yourself behind the furniture while he shoots at you from the tabletops. Now wait until he climbs down to reload and then spin attack him. Do this 4 times.

Island Five: Dr. Nitrus Brio:

Dodge the green & red beaker bombs that he throws at you. Spin-attack green ooze on the floor. When he’s down to just 3 energy bars, he’ll turn into a monster and you can jump from the platform to spin attack his head.

Island Six: Dr. Neo Cortex:

Dodge his blue & red attacks, and spin the green ones back at him. This will create an orb over his head, it will also eventually fall on him.

The Debug Menu

Keep holding Up + X at the naughty Dog logo till the title screen shows up, this will activate the debug menu. After that press Square, Circle, Square, Start while holding d-pad left. In the game play pause and then press Down, X (26), Down, there will be a snorting sound which will confirm the correct entry. Press select and it will display debug menu.
