Unlock All Shu Kingdom Warriors
To unlock all Shu Kingdom warriors enter the following code at the title screen: L1, Square, Triangle, R2, L1, L2, L2, R1,Square, L1.
Unlock All Wei Kingdom Warriors
To unlock all Wei Kingdom warriors, press the following buttons at the title screen: L2, L1, Square, Triangle, L1, L2, R1, R2, L1, L2.
Unlock All All Wu Kingdom Warriors
To unlock all Wu Kingdom warriors, enter the following code at the title screen: Triangle, Triangle, L1, Square, R1, R2, L1, L2,L2, L2.
Unlock All Warriors
To unlock all warriors, enter the following code at the title screen: R2, R2, R2, L1, Triangle, L2, L2, L2, R1, Square.
Edit Opening Animation

Unlock All Movies

Where to Find and Ride Elephants
The fastest way to get to, mount, and ride an elephant in Dynasty Warriors 3 is to begin by selecting Sun Shang Xiang. In the Nanman Campaign, the fifth level in her game, use bow and arrows to kill off the enemy riding the elephant, then walk up to its side, like you would a horse, and press X. You should then be able to ride it.
Unlockable: Red Hare Harness
To acquire the Red Hare Harness, do the following. During the battle at Hu Lao Gate, defeat Lu Bu without running away. A message will flash on-screen about a Supply Unit appearing somewhere around you if you are able to do this. Quickly intercept the Supply Unit, seeking out the Supply Captain. Kill him and you will receive the Red Hare Harness.
Unlockable: Liu Bei
To unlock Liu Bei, select Musou Mode and clear this mode with any two Shu characters.
Hint: Bodyguard Manual
On the battle of He Fei (doesn’t matter who you’re playing as, but be on the Wu side), go directly to and defeat Xu Zhu. It will say a special item has been discovered, and that item will be the Bodyguard Manual. This extremely powerful item will make your bodyguards stronger.

Unlock Shu Generals
Just like in the PS2 version, press WHITE, BLACK, X, Y, WHITE, R, L, BLACK on the main menu.
Unlock Opening Movie Edit
On the meain menu, press X, BLACK, Y, WHITE, L, R, WHITE, WHITE.
Unaffiliated Movies
These are the two “extra” opening movies (just like in the PS2 version). On the opening movie edit screen, hold L + R (or BLACK + WHITE) and play the opening sequence.
Unlock Very Hard Difficulty
To unlock very hard, beat the last level of Musou on Hard.
In-game Reset
To reset the game at any time, press BACK+START during gameplay.
