Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance II Cheats

Once again, the unassuming burgh of Baldurs Gate is at the center of a whirlwind of blood, evil and dark magic. And once again, several heroes have been called to save the land from tyranny. You are one of these heroes. Grab your axe, your bag of magic beans, and your trusty compass, and lets head to the dungeons! Forgot something? You certainly did! You forgot your trusty squire. Cheat: Level-Up
Hold L1 + R1 + TRIANGLE + SQAURE + CIRCLE + X, Press L2.

Cheat: Cheat Menu
Hold L1 + R1 + TRIANGLE + SQAURE + CIRCLE + X, START to unlock the Invulnerabilty and Level Warp menu.

Unlockable: Play as Drizzt and Artemis
To unlock Drizzt, beat the game on any difficulty. To unlock Artemis the Human, complete the game on Extreme Difficulty and start a new game. Move the cursor to Alessia Faithhammer and then press DOWN once for Drizzt and DOWN, DOWN for Artemis.

Unlockable: Extreme Mode
To unlock Extreme Mode, beat the game once. Extreme Mode requires a saved character to play.

Hint: Duplicate Items
Start a new game with a character, earn some money, gems, armor, or whatever. Then save, start another new game with a different character and save the second character in a different slot. Load the save with the character you want to play as, and then import the second character as Player 2. Have Player 1 drop everything you want to duplicate. Player 2 picks it up. Then remove Player 1 and save with Player 2 in the second save slot. Reload Player 1s save. You still have all the items. Import player 2 from save 2, have Player 2 drop all the items picked up the first time. Player 1 picks them up, then remove Player 2 and re- import Player 2 as often as you want.

Hint: Gather An Army
You can temporarily create a small squad of skeletons with the Necromancer, if youre willing to do some work. After summoning a skeleton, save the game. Immediately load that save game (the skeleton will be there) but you may summon another skeleton. Again, save and load the game to summon yet another skeleton. You may do this until youve got number of helpers needed.

Hint: Purchase loads of EXP
Youll want to have a lot of gold before giving this one a shot. When you talk to Omiduil he will tell you about your past and you will get experience each time you do so. What you do need to do is save your game twice, once before you talk to him and once after you talk to him. Load the game where you havent talked to him, and import your character from the game where you have talked to him. Repeat process of paying gold for EXP points. This will also work with the Cleric when she talks to the priest of helm.

Hint: Weight Loss
If youve been adventuring for even a short amount of time, youve probably racked up enough Rejuvination and Health potions to club a possessed rat to death. Well, if you play Ysuran, you should obtain his Alchemical Lore spell. Besides being very practical, changing potions from one type tp the other, it also has a very hidden use. A healing potion weighs half a rejuvination potion. If youve picked twenty rejuvination potions and you turn them all into healing potions, youve saved a respectable ten pounds.

Hint – Item Carry Over
This exploit does work for NON-EXTREME
mode, but not for Extreme mode. You go into any game (this can be at any point) and recall to Baldurs Gate. This is not completely neccessary but you dont want to be attacked half-way through. You then import a new character to player 2. Wait for the player to be brought in and then delete your original character. The new character will move to player one. Then import the character you want into player 2. They should have all the items. Just delete player one once youve done this and enjoy the game!!!

Note: If this is a two player game then go onto the hard game first. Give all of one of the players items to one player and save again. Make sure this is the player you import first so has both of the players items. Import the other character as you usaully would and give him back all his items. Full level up points

Start a new game. do the level up cheat. save the game and quit it. then start a new game. import the player you just were and do the cheat again. keep doing this untill you have full points.

While the game is loading and you see the text Loading, use the R3 analog stick to move the flames left, right or up.
Unlock Drizzt DoUrden

Platform: Playstation 2

Complete the game once on any difficulty.
Level 10, 45 skill points, 500,000.

Platform: Playstation 2

Press and hold L1 + R1 + Triangle + Square + Circle + X. While still holding them, press L2.
Level Warp

Platform: Playstation 2

select any area in the game, press Circle to exit menu after warp.
Infinite Health

Platform: Playstation 2

Take no damage, but if you fall into a pit, you will be stuck.
Extreme Mode

Beat the game on any difficulty to unlock Extreme Mode
Level 10 character

Platform: Playstation 2

Hold [L1] + [R1] + [Triangle] + (Square) + [Circle] + (X) and press [L2] during game play. Your current character will now be at level 10, with 45 feat points and 500,000 gold. To use this code again, save the game, reload the game, return to the title screen, and repeat it.
Play as Artemis Entreri

Platform: Playstation 2

Successfully complete the game under the extreme difficulty setting. Then, highlight Alessia Faithhammer and press [Down]x2 at the character selection screen.
Easy bonus characters

Platform: Playstation 2

To play a Drizzt or Artemis easily, enable the “Cheat mode” code, then use the level warp cheat to go to the BGate3 map for Drizzt. Do the same under the extreme difficulty setting for for Artemis.
Extreme mode

Platform: Playstation 2

Successfully complete the game under any difficulty setting.
Easy gold

Platform: Playstation 2

Note: This trick takes awhile to complete. Enable the “Level 10 character” code. Go to the trader and buy as many rubies as you can. Save the game, then quit. Reload that game then repeat those steps. After you feel you have enough rubies, you can sell them back to the trader. Depending on how many you sell, you can make quite a lot of money. For example, if you buy 2,000 rubies, you can sell them for close to 3 million gold It is best to use this trick before you advance past level 10 or you will be low in HP.
Easy gold and experience

Platform: Playstation 2

In some situations, your character may be awarded a prize of 1,000 gold and 1,000 experience points. However, before you claim a prize, save the game and get your award. Load a previously saved game before you get your gold and experience points. Then, load the character that already has the gold and experience points. Keep repeating this processes to get a lot of gold and experience points.
To get 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold an unlimited number of times, enable the “Cheat mode” code. Level warp to “BGate2″. Talk to Randola Brasshorn and she will give you 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold for bringing her to Baldurs Gate. After you get your reward, you will be warped to “BGate1″. Warp back to BGate2 and talk to Randola Brasshorn to earn another 1,000 experience points and 1,000 gold. Repeat these steps as many times as desired.
Easy stat increase

Platform: Playstation 2

This is a combination of two different methods. First go to the person who will sell your character experience, then enable the “Level 10 character” code. Then, level up to level 12. To do this you may have to use an alternate save after you finish buying experience, then reloading the save before buying experience and importing the character. Now that you are level twelve, select your stat increase then save the game in an alternate save slot. Next, continue as if you were to level again but before you talk to your NPC, enable the “Level 10 character” code. You will now be back to level 10. Level back up to level 12, then get your next stat increase. Repeat this as often as desired. Note: It seems necessary to load from the main menu before using the “Level 10 character” code, as the game seems to limit it to once per game.
Start an extreme game with previous items

Platform: Playstation 2

This will start an extreme mode game with the items on a non-extreme save. First start a new extreme game and load the character you want. Then go to change players and start up a new player 2 character. After the 2nd player loads, remove player 1. Once thats done import the character that you just removed into the player 2 slot (A message about importing characters will pop up, just continue). When its done loading you should have the character loaded with all his/her items from that save. Next just remove the player 1 charater and youre done.
Easy experience

Platform: Playstation 2

Before speaking to one of the experience sellers (example, the dwarf in the Purple Wyrm that will give the dwarf experience for gold), save your game. Speak to him, and buy the 2000, 4000, 8000, and 16000 exp quest reward. Save your game in a new slot, then load the first one, and import your character from the second one. Your character will have all the benefits of having gotten the quest reward, and will be able to get them all over again. Repeat as desired. A sufficient supply of gold is necessary for this glitch.
Make Lyran disappear!

Platform: Playstation 2

Under Act 2 of the game, when you get to Lyrans Hold and find your way into his Private Study, Lyran will appear (as a Lich) and will follow and attack you. Normally, youd want to avoid him and get down to the cellar ASAP. However, you dont need to!
Just run out of his study with him following, then Recall back to Baldurs Gate. When you Recall back again, he aint there anymore! Now, you can toddle down to the cellar at your own pace.
