In a game press and hold START and SELECT.

Thirty-Lives

At the halfway point in the third level, where the ship alternates between dropping grenades and soldiers, stand all the way to the left and aim your gun to the right (You might want a turbo controller for this one). Fire to the right and leave the game running. If you leave and come back at least a half hour later, you should have 30 lives on the counter.

Quick End

While playing, hold L, R, and Start. Press Select to reset the game.

Level Select

At the player options screen press: Left,Down, Down/Left, Left, Start.

Weapon Select

In player options screen enter: Right, Down, Down/Right, Right, Start.

Code: Hidden Gun

You can get secret gun when difficulty level is set to hard or normal. Play till you get to the sixth stage. When you get to the final boss, it will have different shapes going around it. Try to shoot the one that looks like a spike. It will drop lots of guns and bombs. Get under the boss and wait until the gun “M” pops out. It is the strongest gun in the game. It stands for Mini Gun.
