Phantasy Star is a classic RPG. Even I, a non-Sega owner, heard of it, so it must be great, right? Right. While simplistic compared to todays standards, it does remain true to the original version. Anyway, where else can you get three games, RPGs even, for one low price? Phantasy Star Collection for the GBA, thats where. Now IGN Guides has a walkthrough for the Phantasy Star leg of the journey. Well get you started on the trilogy by helping you complete the first game.
The plot is simple – an evil king has to be deposed, and you have to do the deposing! Lassic, once a benevolent ruler has been twisted by evil. Since this traumatic change occurred, many people have vowed to put an end to him. One such man was Alis brother, Nero. Unfortunately, he failed and passes on his quest to his younger sister…
Alis must travel over the surface of three planets on her quest to depose Lassic. On her way she will encounter many interesting people, including a trio of stalwart companions. With both arms and sorcery, the four companions must defeat vast odds to triumph over evil!
The following guide is simplistic in scope, but includes maps to all levels. Spell, equipment and treasure lists are not included, except for the most important items. As usual, on with the FREE guide!
