Unlockable: Boba Fett
You must collect all the cannisters in level “Sarlacc Pit” and then purchase them in store for 175000 studs.

Unlockable: Baby Rancor
You must unlock all the other characters and then buy him in the store for 200000 studs.

Unlockable: Darth Vader
You must collect cannisters in level “Cloud City Rescue” and then buy it in the store for 35000 studs.

Unlockable TIE Advanced
You must collect all the cannisters in “Asteroid Chase” and buy the thing for 3,000 studs.

Cheat – Money Hack
Back up the files you intend to alter. That is all.

You need a hex editing program for this. Locate the savegames in …local settingsapplication datalucasartslego star wars II
. There are folders for each savegame you have. In a folder, there are two files code.bin
and savegame.bin
.

Open savegame.bin with the hex editor and go to address 0x3ec
. Now heres the wierd thing, the numbers arent stored normally. Encode the stud count into hex, and then reverse the bytes; same with the checksum.

For example, if I have 320,580 studs, this is 04e444 in hex (calc.exe and leave off the first 0 or use a scientific calculator). In the file, it will show up as 44 e4 04 00
. Lets say I want to increase my stud count to 15,680,803 (hex ef4523) I would enter 23 45 ef
.

When I do this, I would increase the checksum by 15360223. So if it was ba5bf6ba (in the file ba f6 5b ba), it would become bb465799, so I would enter 99 57 46 bb
into my file at the checksum location. Once youve altered your money, save the BIN file and boot your game.

Secret Codes
These codes are from the PC demo of Lego Star Wars II. fdisk got one for getting all the canisters in the demo, then decided to search the EXE for it and wound up seeing the rest sitting in there as well.

After unlocking a character you still need to purchase it with “studs”. The price is listed after the character. After Unlocking these there are still twelve locked charaters but they are unlocked by completing all of Story Mode.
